Dear Parents/Guardians,

I am so excited to work with JO’S families and scholars. I have worked in the field of education for 21 years as a classroom teacher, literacy coach, program implementor, early childhood coordinator, Head Start supervisor and school leader. I received my Bachelors in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and a Masters in Education Leadership with a Principal and Director of Instruction license from Cardinal Stritch University.
I am a strong believer in student-centered classrooms and a hands-on approach to learning. My goal is to be visible, approachable, a visionary and to create an environment where we work together to build a solid foundation for our young JLA scholars as a “Family of Learners.”
I am here to support and assist you as needed. I am a collaborator and team player. I want to ensure our students are well prepared and excel while ensuring you also have the tools to successfully assist them along the way. This means thinking creatively AND doing whatever it takes to help us reach our goals.

Feel free to contact me at any time ericahd@jla1.com or 414-873-8940. I look forward to working with you and learning more about each and every one of you.

This year I pray for a successful year of teaching and learning as we work to make JO’S the number one Choice School in the country.
